Is it easy to find short-term teaching positions without losing the perks of airfare, housing, etc.? If so - anyone has suggestions on where I could look? Thanks much! |

Short answer = no, not possible to get a short term job with round-trip airfare included.
IF you are in Korea you could probably land a short term contract with the visa run paid for.
If you are abroad you have about the same chance as a snowball in hades. |

Yes buy it will say you have a years contract.
You'd have to agree with the school that they will let you go after 6 months but sign a contract that says for a year.
Or just work for 5 months and then give a months notice. Dont think that you'll get your bonus though. |

Just accept any 1 year contract and quit in the middle.
They can't stop you from quitting. |

Is it so old fashioned to want to keep your word and honor contracts?
There are six-month positions advertised from time to time, so it is possible.
Come to an agreement with an employer. The demand is so high for teachers that some will be willing to negotiate. Find those agreeable to it. |

Yeah, almost all contract says that you must give 30 days prior notice before quitting. Thus, you're honoring the contract. |
