I have both income tax and residential tax deducted from my pay. The income tax deduction is in line with http://www.nta.go.kr/eng/default.html But I can't find any information about residency tax. I've talked to Americans who don't pay this, but I'm Canadian.
Is this legit? |

I had to pay it. It was something like 5000won a month or something like that. I think each local gu has their own tax or something or maybe just seoul |

Where do you work first of all?
I'm with GEPIK and it's stated in the contract. Americans are not taxed...I think only canadians are...not sure of the exact wording since I dont have my contract with me. |
