I have both income tax and residential tax deducted from my pay. The income tax deduction is in line with http://www.nta.go.kr/eng/default.html But I can't find any information about residency tax. I've talked to Americans who don't pay this, but I'm Canadian.

Is this legit?

Where do you work first of all?

I'm with GEPIK and it's stated in the contract. Americans are not taxed...I think only canadians are...not sure of the exact wording since I dont have my contract with me.
