Damn...You beat me to it. I was going to resurrect that "Should Pandas be saved" thread and toss this on pile. Here's the video of them smooching away. It's a sign when you are jealous of 2 pandas in a zoo

Idiot points for the announcer using the pun 'It's Pandamonium at the zoo.'
Aw, I might be dissilusioned. After watching the vid, I it looks more like they are just licking the residue of the leaves they eat off of each other's mouths after eating, rather than kissing... |

not that the kissing pandas aren't cute and all. i still wouldn't pick a fight with them though. i sorta feel an affinity to animals with a mean streak towards people.
the drunk guy got what he deserved. i kinda feel bad for the homeless kid but i serves him right for sneaking into the zoo, or so the police would make it seem. |

"They have got on together well for years so the fact that they are kissing frequently even though their mating season is over, we have to assume that it comes from a love that has grown between them." |
Sound like tree hugging hippie talk, but what else would you expect from zoo keepers?
I used to have two dogs at home, they used to spend an awful lot of time sniffing each others asses.
"We had to assume they had become homosexual lovers engaged in sexual activity"
We also (living on a Dairy farm) had Fresian-Angus crosses and Jerseys in the same mob. The larger black Fresian-Angus crosses would constantly gang up and harass the smaller (light tan) Jerseys, particularly in the mating season.
"We had to assume the cows had formed non-interracial cliques not dissimilar to American street gangs. The fighting resulted from the believed assumption that the black animals were dominant and consequently hatred has grown between them." |
