I'm in receipt of one of those and it is valid for 3 months. I got it at
the Korean consulate at Fukuoka and thought it was a mistake that they
would iron out once I got my alien registration card however the people
at immigration at Masan are talking about another visa run.
I wrote down on the form I was contracted for a year, but not only is it 3 months but it is a single entry visa! Does anyone know what the score is? |

The 3 months is the time you have to use the visa to enter South Korea. As long as the dates of sojourn on your ARC are accurate (ie the full year) then you do not need to do a visa run.
With it being single entry, it means that should you want to leave and re-enter Korea, you will need to purchase a (multi) re-enrty permit. From memory single reentry permits are 30,000 while a multi re-entry permit is 50,000 won. |

So can you buy this at Masan Immigration? Cheers in advance! |
