Ehh, changed my mind about this. Hence the edits.

I've resolved to live and let live.

Do you work with the guy and have to deal with him on a regular basis? If not, why bother? Doing it for spite because of one bad encounter seems a bit petty.

Technically it could be possible if he is Australian, has a three-year degree and was an early starter at school. However, even in the event that all your ducks line up, how badly does a person have to treat you to warrant detention, a hefty fine and deportation? Given it's another person's life you are potentially messing with, I would be hesitant. Maybe distancing yourself from the guy is a good start. Also, there is nothing wrong with warning people about his antics. I've met a lot of people here with fake degrees over the last four years, some I knew for a fact, others I found out after their deportation. I've also known more than my fair share of scumbags, but would still be hesitant about turning them in, unless they were guilty of something really bad.

It was a really bad encounter. Terrible in fact.

But I suppose your right, as long as he keeps distance from me I will keep distance from him. Besides, I don't have any proof. He could very well have some kind of degree, I just find it very hard to believe.

If I were to do something to somebody to mess up their life, which I would in the right situation, I wouldn't post it on a public message board for all to see. Good idea deleting it.
