I just found out about this show and I'm definitely going. One of my all time favorite bands. I heard tickets are 70,000 won? Money is no object for me in this case.

What would be the best way to get tickets to the show?

Apparently you have to be a Korean citizen to reserve tickets through Interpark. I'm having someone at work take care of it for me. Tickets are either W88,000 or W66,000. My contract is finished two weeks after the show....couldn't think of a better parting gift!

Here is the interpark link: http://ticket.interpark.com/Tiki/Main/TiKiGoodsinfo.asp?GoodsCode=07004089

MEGADETH RULES!

Killing Is My Business, And Business Is Good; Peace Sells, But Who's Buying; So Far So Good So What; and Rust In Piece are great albums, but after that? No ssang you berry gamsa.

Dave Mustaine is a mad Christian now, and one of the most arrogant turds out there, they wouldn't even play a show with Rotting Christ because of their name. Just listen to the guy! Jesus...

Which bands are opening for them? I may go just to add Megadeth to my list of metal bands seen live, but then again, this is Korea. I expect it to be dull regardless if they play Holy Wars or not.

I bought 'Rust in Peace' and Slayer's 'Seasons in the Abyss' together on vinyl in 1991 (when I was 12). That gives me serious Metal cred - make no mistake about that.

RIP is the only Megadeth album I've ever liked all the way through. Before and after that, there's only the odd song.

Dave Mustaine's comment about the 'spider riff' looked like twaddle to me. Aren't those chords simply fourths?

Peace Sells.....But Who's Buying, Rust In Peace, Countdown to Extinction, and Youthanasia are all amazing albums. I agree that Rust in Peace is their best album from start to finish, but Megadeth has put out great music for a long time now. And compared to the crap that Metallica has put out in the past decade, Megadeth's new stuff aint half bad. At least they're still rocking hard.

Anyways, I picked up my ticket through the Interpark website, and it will be delivered early next week. I'm supposed to be very close to the front. I really hope it's not sitting only though, that would be pretty lame. So glad I finally have an opportunity to see one of my favorite bands from my younger days. I can still remember the day I heard Hangar 18 for the first time in the early 90's. What an amazing opening riff and guitar battle at the end!

I will see if I can buy tix after next weekend. Seeing as how for once a show is on a Saturday and not a weeknight, I think I will go. There's not much in the way of variety to do here in any case.

OP, are you going alone, or with a 'crew'?

I don't think you'll have any trouble getting tix. There seemed to be plenty when I reserved mine. The show is actually on Sunday which is lucky for me because my school has me working all day Saturday at a halloween party Evil or Very Mad

No crew. I was planning on going solo....don't know anyone here who's into metal. If you'd like to meet up before the show I'd be down. Shoot me a PM.
