If you type in "Korean Alphabet" to Google, look for the result from Univ. of Oregon. There is a great interactive lesson on that. For further study, try GLOSS:

What is GLOSS?
The Global Language Online Support System (GLOSS) is an internet-based learning support system offering interactive foreign language materials designed for those who want to practice, maintain or enhance their reading and listening skills. These materials may complement language training received through Post Language Programs on a self-study basis. GLOSS supports a range of languages and learner proficiency levels. All U.S. Government employees, Foreign Service Nationals, Locally Employed Staff, Eligible Family Members, Members of Household and members of the military may use GLOSS free of charge. In fact, this resource is available to the entire world because it does not require a password. GLOSS is developed and maintained by the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California.
What does GLOSS offer?
GLOSS offers a searchable collection of listening and reading materials and activities in Russian and also in the following languages: Albanian, Arabic, Chinese, Croatian, Greek, Indonesian, Korean, Persian, Serbian and Spanish. New languages are being added every year.
The Russian program is geared for the 2-3 level of study. A tool to test your level of proficiency is included. The reading materials in the Russian program include papers on culture, military, society, technology, economy and politics.
How do you access GLOSS?
To access GLOSS, simply go to < http://gloss.lingnet.org/ > . You may access an unlimited number of lessons in all the languages available.

EDIT: You know, looking at this, I see it is Level 2 and up. Sorry to the OP, but it is a good resource for non-beginners, so I'll leave it up.
Good luck!

If you go to youtube and type in Let's Speak Korean you get the arirangTV series with Lisa Kelly. It is somewhat useful and you can feel the drama/tension between Lisa and Stephen on some episodes.
There are 2 different series with about 100+ episodes each. The newest series has a # next to the n. The newer series is also funnier and the words are slightly easier to read.
Either that or I need stronger contacts |
