I have been looking at the different Xbox 360 packages and am confused. I have no experience in this area and notice that the price range is from $279 to over $600. Is there a difference in the 360 console or just the extras that come with the package? Will they all play the same games etc.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

All will play the same games. The price difference lies in the hard drive and extras that come with it. Look at the individual packages on an english site like amazon.com or something and see what fits you best. I would recommend any model that has the hard drive--saving on memory cards will get pretty annoying after awhile.

They are region locked. Google "region locking" so you can get an idea of what it is.

here's a link to play-asia's region compatibility guide. games in asia that are marketed for asian xboxes are cheaper -- but mind you, some of these games are region free.
