Ok, who has grown to like corn on their pizza since living in Korea? Admit it...some of you like corn on your pizza now. |

Can take it or leave it but what I really got to love is the potato wedges.
Quality varies so much--I recall one place with bland pizza-and then I realized it has NO SAUCE. No tomato sauce=no pizza.
But a place in Chechon have a great pepp-cheese type pizza with potato and WOW. Who would have thought ---potato and pizza sound like opposites but it can work. The corn kinda sucks but give them crediit for trying. |

Panago is advertising corn on their bbq pizza. I have seen the commercial a couple of times now. It is that fat Italian guy who did the other commercials. BTW is it true that in Australia or NZ they put eggs on their pizza?? Just wondering. |

yep we call it an americana
I have had lots of random things on pizza, there is this amazing pizza place in queenstown, NZ where you can get rice, pumpkin, zucchini, youghurt etc on pizza. as long as it tastes good who cares? if you don't like something pick it off |

When I was in NZ I ordered a pizza. When it came it was really bland. I went up to the counter and ask for pepper flakes. The woman behind the counter handed me a shaker with black pepper. No red pepper flakes to be found in the entire place. Blechhhhh. |

I ordered a steak pizza in Korea once. Instead of crust they used a giant hamburger patty. |

Are you guys only talking about delivery pizza or the pizza in the restaurants? I'm from DC and we have crap pizza there--I got food poisoning from TWO pizza places (thanks, Boli's). I've been to several Italian restaurants in Gangnam that served amazing pizza--thin and crispy, tasted like it actually came from Italy. My mom is ethnically 100% Italian, so my family knows good pizza. But yeah...the regular pizza places here are pretty standard. Pizza Hut here tastes exactly the same as Pizza Hut back home. |

The corn doesn't bother me in the least. Whether or not I get it depends entirely on whether or not I have to pay extra.
I second the potato wedges. Good stuff. |

Unlike my video, I don't really mind much these days the odd kernel or two. However, a place like Fresco's is just beyond the pale regarding pizza and pasta. |

ever eaten at california pizza kitchen? they put all kinds of weird crap on their pizzas. sometimes good, sometimes not. would not be surprised if at least one pizza had corn on it.
the best non-conventional slice i ever had was at a ny-style pizza place in cali...but it was some kind of spicy ranch chicken number. excellent.
as for korea, the only thing i really dislike is the sweet potato on pizza. |
