hey,

I'll be moving to korea within the next couple of days to Ulsan City.

I will definetly need a gaming console. I am only here for 8months though, so I want to know if I can buy a console down here and bring it back with me when I leave.

Will it work once I return home to Canada?

thanks

oh, also. I'm bringing my new laptop down there but I'm curious of which adapter I will need. I've read the posts and googled around but I'm not sure exactly which adapter I will need.

I know I don't need a converter because my powerpack can handle 100v-220v. just I'm not sure which plug adapter to buy.

any help is appreciated.

thanks

What do you want to buy? You can get a 360 or PS3 here, but most 360 games are region-specific. PS3 games are region-free. Any console will work when you return to Canada, but you need the appropriate voltage converter.

Just buy a plug that has the korean plug on one side and holes that match your appliance on the other side. Good luck finding cheap ones in Ulsan though--you might as well pick one up at the airport.
