Hey does anyone know any Vietnamese friends who may be interesested in either language exchange or giving me lessons?
I'm heading over there in a few months and I really want to work on the tonal accents.
Any help is very much appreciated,

The Foreign languages University teaches Vietnamese as a major. I'd guess there's Vietnamese professors or at least well trained speakers in the area.
I've also ran into Vietnamese cooks in local restaurants.
best of luck Vietnamese seems to be a tough language to learn. Six tones! |

According to the city website, there is a large number of Vietnamese in Bucheon, which is kind of close to Seoul.
I studied Vietnamese at the Defense Language Institute. Send me a PM once you get here and I'll be happy to help. |
