|
|
Hey everyone,
I'm looking to buy a laptop from yongsan. I don't need something top of the line, I need it only to surf, music and movies. However, I want one that has English XP (legit) on it. I'm looking to spend between 600-800k on it.
Does anyone know of a shop in Yongsan that would be able to sell me something like this?
Thanks. |

| If you have any hope of getting a legal copy of XP and english drivers, Compaq/HP seems to be the only choice. |

| There are probably dozens that have what you're looking for. One idea would be to find a model online that you know has what you want (like ^ said, probably hp or compaq) and then find it at several shops and make them compete to give you the best price. |

www.dell.co.kr
Go with a core 2 duo or AMD x2 machine.
In any case, you should up the ram (but don't do it through Dell). Have another shop somewhere do it, or do it yourself. You'll save at least 50,000 won.
You need 2 gigs to make Vista run at its optimal speed. |

Thanks guys, someone else also told me to go through one of the big companies, such as dell and hp. But like you guys have mentioned they charge extra for the name. I'll start looking around on the web.
