Went looking in Yongsan for a 22-24 inch monitor for my Xbox/laptop display yesterday but just had no idea when it came to the brands. The Samsung and LG ones were generally far more expensive and brands like Anypro and Newzen I had not heard of. Are there any I should stay away from?
I'm looking to spend no more than 350,000 really and want it mainly for xbox 360 gaming. |

I'm assuming you're looking for LCD monitors. Generally there isn't much difference in brands other than maybe aesthetics, and how sturdy the frame or casing is. What you should be looking for is resolution, and response rate. For gaming i'd look for a 2ms - 3ms response rate. |

Regardless of brand, the panels inside are made by only a few large companies. Since it's in Korea you can bet dimes to doughnuts that there will be a Samsung or LG panel inside. But the build quality, backlighting and other components may be different. Bring along your 360 with component/HDMI inputs and ask to check them out. Look for ghosting and dead pixels before you buy. |
