Can you get these in Korea, if so, how many places are you likely to find them and how much do they generally cost? Wink

They sell them everywhere pretty much.. the big supermarkets, the local independent supermarkets etc. (something like $5-$7 for 3? I forget..)

They cost way more than they're worth, just like in every other country. I've been having a lot of luck with a disposable 3 blade razor that costs about 400won.. I swear it lasts just as long as a mach-3 blade and is way cheaper. The handle isn't as fancy though.

What are those called then? I admit the M3 blades are way overpriced but I've always found them pretty good at balancing between a smooth and low-irritation shave. Disposables are good but go blunt fast, and are rougher on the skin. And then there is double-edge or classic razors, which are totally over-rated IMO. Takes about ten years to get a good shave with those. At least with M3, it's done quickly. Ofcourse some experience is required in any shaving system and what works for one persons skin may be terrible for another.

I really don't know the name of the ones I'm referring too.. I just know they seem much better than Mach-3's in terms of value. They last about a week a piece.. I think Mach-3s last about 10 days, maybe? And with those Mach 3-s it's often just as good value to buy a new one with 2 free extra blades than to just buy the blades themselves.. that annoys me for some reason.

Fusion blades? Get outta here. They are like scraping a mower on your skin, not to mention it costs twice as much as anything else out there.

I used to use these too, but if you missed a couple of days then the resulting stubble would get trapped between the blades and give me severe razor rash.

These days I use the green coloured 'Schwick' razors, in packs of 2with 2 blades. They last a few weeks and they have a wee bit of plastic between the 2 blades. Every swipe or two, you push with your thumb to send all the hairs stuck between the blades, down the plug-hole.

I think I used to wake the neighbours, tapping my razors on the wash hand basin! Now all is quite and rash free Very Happy .
