I would love to hear from anyone living in Icheon. I've heard it's on the small side and I'm curious about what's available e.g. restaurants, fitness gyms, cinema, etc. Also, where is the best part of town to live? Thanks!

Icheon is on the smallish side, but is a heck of a lot bigger than the little burg I was living in down the road. I did my shopping in Icheon at E-Mart on the east side of town. It has a McDonald's. Downtown near the bus terminal is a Pizza Hut. Those are the two choices for western food.
The good news is that Icheon will be hooked up to Seoul via the subway 'soon'. Next year? |

i have been to Icheon about a dozen times, to me, it is not small, it is a city. there are large apartment buildings, a decent sized park, most things like that. it is not seoul, but i would definitely not classify it as country. |
