So for the past couple of months or so i have been looking for a job in Seoul, and now i am considering taking a position on Jeju island. Does anyone know anything about there and if so could you share some qualities it has so as to help me in my decision.
Thanks a lot |

it would help if you say exactly what you want
do you want nightlife?
do you want western food?
are you ok with being stuck on an island for most of the year?
do you want nature and beaches?
maybe if you say what you are looking for and ask more specific questions someone can help.
i wouldnt really recommend living in jeju to anyone but i know a lot of people are happy there. if you google 'rhymeswithjeju' you will find a yahoo email group. ask any questions you might have there and you will find many overwhelmingly positive responses to jeju life from people who probably dont know any better. |

I visited Jeju for 5 days and was ready to leave after that. Unless you have a family or get a good group of friends there, I'd become bored. Seoul is the best place to live in Korea unless you are a hermit, or if you MUST have a beach, Busan is good, yet it still lacks the modernization of Seoul. |

Yeah, this is kind of a ridiculous question. These two locations are so completely opposed to one another that you need to figure out for yourself what you want. Do your homework and research first, and then post more specific questions. |
