I brought ten bottles of cherry flavor Nyquil back two months ago, it's expensive at the black market stores here. I heard that there's a Korean brand out there, but it's nowhere near as good as Nyquil.

The Red Door in Itaewon had it last January and February.

Dude, saying that the Korean stuff isn't as good is a bit of a stretch. Nyquil is just tylenol, a cough suppressant, and an antihistamine that will knock you out (the same stuff that's commonly taken back home and here in Korea as a sleeping aid).

Anybody know the *name* of the Korean equivalent? That would be a handy thing to have around should a cold/insomnia strike. Nothin beats the 'quil.

As was once said.... "either way you win" Wink

I've gone through two of them already. Wife and I both have mild ENT colds right now. MMmmmm, cherry flavor!

Just heard the name is "Co-Co syrup" but it's supposedly for kids, not adults. This is why I think it might not be the same strength, etc.

For 500 KRW I got a sot and some pills.

I felt fine the next morning and went to work.

Three days later no sypmtoms at all.

Nyquil never did that for me.

National health insurance YES!
