Needed ASAP for one window. Guessing it is about 3 foot drop and maybe 6 feet wide.

Any ideas where to buy them would be great too. (I have no rail, but can probably improvise there).

Thanks.

Val

This isn't the most elegant solution, but it looks good:

My small bedroom (where I used to sleep) faces East. The rising sun woke me up really early in the morning, so I went to Itaewon and purchased a black blanket for 20,000 to 30,000 won, and tacked it up with thumb tacks. Works wonderfully, and the room is pitch-black when I sleep.

If you want a real curtain, however, there is an entire building the size of a football field selling made-to-order curtains, or just materials, in Dongdaemun. I'm sorry, I can't remember which exit it's outside of at Dongdaemun station.

We bought a roll of decorative, adhesive paper last month.

Goes on like wallpaper, except horizontally and takes out much of the strong sunlight.
