FOX, I believe. Times/Days, I can never figure out, but they often play back-to-back (late evenings, early afternoons). |

Love the show myself. It is on Fox. Tomorrow's (11/9) schedule is as follows:
650 am- 740, 1540-1635, 1635-1730, 2210-2305.
There have been times in the past week when they run 5 or 6 shows in a row, starting at about 2100. |

Wonder why they didn't show it yesterday at 6.50am? I'm at the gym at that time and like to watch it whilst I am on the treadmill. |

Ice T is in Law and Order: Special Victims Unit.... I'm more of a fan of the original series, myself. Too bad Sam Waterson is gone. |

That show was on FOX every night at 12 am for the last 4 months. Now they've switched to Battlestar Galactica for me to fall asleep to. |

It depresses me that Korea has made me a chronic Law and Order SVU watcher. I'm not sure on the other times, but I know it's on 3:30-5:30 on Fox every weekday. I get home from school just in time to catch the 4:30 episode. |

Why? It's a great show with a great cast of characters, strong acting (except maybe Ice-T), intelligent writing, lots of conflict, and the endings aren't always rosy, like that CSI crap.
Munch rocks and tells it like it is, appears to be a tough guy, but he's all moosh inside - a teddy bear. His one-liners alone make the show worth watching.
Elliot is a man's man and a cop's cop. He's tough, but usually fair. He lets his emotions get the best of him sometimes, but we like him more for it because we agree with him. Elliot's story line (married, young children) makes him vulnerable to children's cases, and he struggles with playing it by the book.
Olivia is a woman struggling with inner demons. Her story line is that she was born as a product of a rape and never knew her father (the rapist). She's smart, emotional and tough. She's also fighting a woman's fight in the male-dominated police force.
Cragen, the Captain, is a gruff, recovering alcoholic. He gets straight to the point, has total command, but uses it wisely. He is well-liked, but even more importantly, he is respected. He has been known to lose his cool, but usually controls his emotions well. He's fair and honest. My favourite character.
Casey, the Assistant DA, is a school-smart "beautiful" blond. She is my least favorite character, but she has some conflict with making deals, and getting along/communicating with her detectives. The last episode I saw she had bent the rules, pretending to get a warrant when none was given, and arguing creatively to get the evidence in.
Fin, the newest member of the team, is the street-smart, badass. He flirts with intimidation and pretending he's not affected by what he sees. He has little sympathy for his perps, but would have your back in a heartbeat on the force.
Doc, the resident psychologist, is a good addition to the team as well. He knows his stuff and presents the psychological possibilities with annoying accuracy (a pet peeve of mine on the show). His predecessor was much better IMO.
The actors they get from episode to episode (victims, witnesses, judges, other lawyers) are all very good, too.
SVU is my one and only television pleasure in Korea, apart from maybe a few Discory shows... It really is a great show. |

Yeesh. I wasn't saying it was a bad show. If I watch it often, it's obviously a good show. I was more referring to the fact that it's pretty depressing to have ANY show you watch often. TV is something I find quite hard to make commitments to, considering how much it'ss turned the population's minds into gooey, shapeless mush.
Oh... and did you really need to give us a character synopsis for every person on the show? I watch the show... I know who the chars are. |

No, I didn't. That was out of the kindness of my heart. You're welcome.

Awesome show. Fox also shows a whole heap of episodes in a row on Sunday nights. Starts at 9:00 or 10:00
Questions about the female lawyers:
They used to have a blonde name Alex, right? Now, it's a girl called Casey. Did anyone else notice that in Season 3 (or 4) the actress that plays Casey was a defendent on one episode? The episode was something about 3 girl friends who were into bondage. She always wore a scarf to cover the strangulation marks on her neck. I think the 3 of them raped a male stripper and when one was getting antsy about it, "Casey" and the other girl offed her. |

You're absolutely right. Good eye Alex was replaced by "casey" because in one eps Alex was shot and had to enter the witness protection program.
I liked Alex a lot better than Casey |
