I went to Youngsan today. There were lots of used computers for sale (sans monitors). This photo is of some pretty ugly boxes, but you can generally get the same chips, and sometimes better specs, for about these prices. They seem to also put some of the used computers in newer small-formfactor boxes, which you don't see here. Pretty good deals to be had. One guy had about ten DELL 3.2ghz mini-desktops that weren't much more than a foot high by four inches wide. Wish I had gotten a pic of those. They were selling for 200,000 won, and included the windows discs.

Here is the random shot. The cheapest is an AMD 2600, which is just fine for internet users. You can pick up a used LCD for around 100,000 to 140,000. New ones aren't much more.
