I am not a giant but I am rather tall at 6'2" (189cm) in Korea. I have had a hard time finding good clothes that fit around here.

Most of the clothes found back home cost an arm and a leg here. Does anyone know of any good places to shop for some decent pants and a few shirts at a reasonable price? Im startin to look pretty tacky in my 10 month old clothes from back home. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Hong Kong. Not meant to be funny, either.

There are a few shops in Itaewon that have clothes for taller guys. The 'shirt store' down near where Pizza Hut used to be (is?) usually has dress shirts for under 10K.

Have some suits custom made. Shouldn't cost you more than 350 for the better materials.

Good luck. Stock up when you visit home.

Thanks for the advice. I am 6'4" and rather big too so I will definitely need to go to a place like that for clothes.

Let me know if you guys would be interested in some hiking boots. I have two new pair that I can't wear, both low. One pair (Ecco, some of the best you can get) are too big; they sent the wrong size. Goretex, and they'll fit a 13 comfortably. The other pair (LOWA) would fit a 12.5 comfortably.

Both new, both never worn (aside from being tried on here). PM me if you are interested. Cheers.

I do almost all of my shopping online. I order from eddiebauer and eddiebaueroutlet as well as llbean. Both companies have clothes for the big and tall and if you keep the order under $150 US (including shipping) then you probably won't get dinged for duty.

Even when I lived in Hong Kong, I used to get my clothes sent over. It hard to find longer lengths in pants in HK.

I've given up trying to find clothes here.
I'm 6"2 and weigh under 145lb meaning any pants or shirts I find which meet the length requirement are way to generous around the waist/shoulders.

You guys have mentioned some "big and tall" shops around...anyone know of a "tall and skinny" shop? Razz

I agree with this! I'd also say that Itaewon, if you're not wide (as in chunky/stocky/whatever) and not particularly interested in looking like you stepped out of some imagined 'hood, is not that good for clothes shopping.

Get stocked up when you're out of the country.

TEXAS STREET, thats where I got everything during my time in Pusan. A million huge Russians cant be wrong. My buddy came to visit me once, the guy is 6 '4, 300 pounds, and he bought a boat load of shirts, pants, etc.. on good ole Texas street.
