Well, after 5+ years in Korea sleeping on the floor, I've decided to get a bed. Now, the problem is -- where can I get western style bed sheets, if at all? Costco? Homeplus? Please help! |

The internet.
Seriously. I bought some fabulous white embroidered sheets in Vietnam cause I was so sick of looking for them here. I hate those quilted, sticky, hot bed things that Koreans use. |

I got some really good pure cotton bedding from the waegookin mall site. It's Ikea stuff so slightly dodgy sizing but fits the korean duvet I have perfectly. Also try Muji (I know there's one in Jamsil and another in Myeong Dong) - they do some good bedding but it's quite pricey.

Yes, Costco even has flannel ones!!! I"m soo sooo happy right now. They only have Queen, but the fitted sheet fits my Korean double bed with no extra. The flat sheet is quite large, but not too much.
I also got some really nice sheets at a place called MUJI. They are made of t-shirt material, and come in nice basic colors like grey, white, ivory - very natural looking, but more expensive than costco.
If you are interested in the t-shirt sheets, search for muji on this board, as it was from someone's post that I got the directions. |
