Just a matter of time. Soon there will probably be a tax deduction on your tax return if you are one of those who is tagged.
Makes you wonder if the Christian prophecies are correct

Cell phone records are certainly open to abuse. Your movements can be tracked by cell tower. Your movements can be tracked by your ATM use. Your movements can be tracked by your credit card use. What you read is tracked by your ISP's web server. All kinds of crazy information is out there waiting to be data mined. We all know this. Or we should. But we give up privacy for convenience. Use pay phones. Use a teller at one bank and use cash. Don't use toll roads. Blah blah.

The technology is not to be feared. Just vote in good people. Patronize good companies. Or live in a cabin in the woods.

Revelation is correct insofar as it's a normal fear that an outside force (the romans) will interfere in your ability to engage in commerce. This was not a warning for the distant future. This was a warning for the people of the day. Nothing much has changed.

And when you don't do what they want/expect....they just turn off your chip. You won't be able to buy food, travel, go to the doctor...work...nada...nothing.

I'll be in Alaska, living off the land!

That's a slippery slope argument.
