I love the melon bars and can eat three of them in one sitting. These have a green wrapper and maybe a photo of a melon. They are quite yummy and run 500 W a pop, get them on sale for much less.
Another favorite is the chocolate chip ice cream bar. This has a white outer shell, then a dark chocolate shell then the ice cream center. Not bad at all...these are harder to find than the melon bars.
Korean ice cream is nice and the price is right! |

I love the Goo-Goo Bars here. At home we called 'em Drumsticks. Anyway, you have to be careful of the off-brand cheap immitation. The real one has chocolate, caramel and nuts. Good eatin'.
I have serious trouble walking past any western ice cream place that has any kind of cheese cake ice cream. |

they dont have baskin robbins where i'm from, i always assumed it was a cake shop or something; so round about last christmas my friend took me to baskin robbins...it was a revelation.
i ate baskin robbins everyday well into february, eventually forcing me to go on the atkins diet
i dont regret anything

Tiger Tail was my childhood favourite. Hadn't seen any in probably 20 years or so, and man the craving was getting unbearable. Went home for a visit to the folks this summer and the first ice cream shop I hit (a mom and pop'er) had Tiger Tail by the gallon! I just about creamed myself just standing there. Spent the rest of the summer sitting under their patio umbrella manging bowl after bowl of the stuff. Heaven!
Just before I left, I saw that one of the Canadian ice cream companies (Chapman's??) also sells the stuff in stores.
Dammit, now I'm craving it again. I'll just have to make do with Ben and Jerry's Brownie Batter or Haagen Daaz Cinnamon.

Ben & Jerry's "Half Baked"
Ditto on the half baked...the perfect ingredients like choco chip cookies w/no nuts...
"Quarterback Crunch" at baskin robbins was my fave back in the day...only available during football season. |

I think the periodic reoccurrence of threads with the same topic lend credence to the theory that disparate cultures wrought strikingly similar mythologies due to an archetypal limitation / function. Discuss amongst yourselves. |

Periodic reoccurrences of threads with the same theme on this forum usually reflects the fact that there's a big turnover among EFL teachers in Korea.
(And what's better on a hot apple turnover than a scoop of vanilla ice cream?...)
They sell New Zealand Natural ice cream at the Buy the Way in my hick rural town. To me, the colors don't seem natural, and the flavors I tried were too sweet and rich for my taste ( I'm naturally sour ...)
I was surprised at how good "Soy Delicious" (vegan) ice cream tasted at the branch I stumbled across near Yanjiae station (exit 6).
I think the best ice cream is made from cows milk, though, and probably the best cared for cows give the best milk and cream.
But - after getting so much nice ice cream, milk, cream, yogurt, butter, and cheese - we generally reward frightened cows by slitting their throats like terrorists. |
