I was in HomePlus this week and bought a bunch of the single packaged Christmas cards. I started reading the little messages/poems on them and some of them are just bad English mistakes. I thought they were funny and that others on this board might get a kick out of them as well.

Luckily the print on the cards is small enough that a majority of the people I'm sending them to won't be able to read it. Smile

No not a newbie just got a kick out of the cards.

Chalk it up to sleep deprivation due to illness, but they struck me as funny today.

Dude I've been here four years and never get tired of Engrish.

To the OP: Thanks for the tip. I need to check out some christmas cards for a new source for my "Engrish tshirt finds" segment on my podcast. Winter makes it hard to spot people in funny tshirts.

Yeah that's kind of what I thought to...it was something funny. Thought it was along the same lines as the t-shirt thread.
