I just received a stub from the National Pension Office, and can't figure out what the headings in the rows/columns mean. My co-teacher isn't around (go figure) to help me. I'd appreciate any help for the following words:

1) 가업종별
2) 계
3) 남부총액 (월수)
4) 사업장가얍자

Also down at the bottom it says these three things, with the following amounts of money underneath them.

1) 노령연금 - 694,000 won
2) 장애연금 - 538,000 won
3) 유족연금 - 215,000 won

Thanks in advance! Smile

(That took much longer to type than it should have)

Just copy and paste those into the Naver.com dictionary. Go to Naver or Daum and click on 사전, and then copy the stuff in.

I don't know these. I can get to it later with a dictionary if someone else doesn't do it first.

The ones on the bottom, #1 means (I think) old age pension. #2 means disability pension.

#1 is the business type, and I believe #2 would be the total. I think #3 should be 납부총액, since 남부총액 would be "total southern amount" instead of "total amount paid". Also, are you sure about the spelling for #4? I can't think of what 가얍자 could be.

Yes. And #3 means survivors' benefits.

Oh sorry, you're right I did spell #4 wrong. Typing in Korean is not my strong point.

#4 is supposed to say 사업장가입자 - sorry for the mistake.

You're also right about my mistake in #3 in the above point. I guess I really need to work on my Korean. Embarassed

Not to worry, practice makes perfect. 사업장가입자 would be "subscriber at place of business" or something like that.
