I'm leaving Korea and selling my PC. The specs are as follows:

2.26GHz P4 CPU
1 G RAM
80GB Hard Disk
nVidia GeForce4 Ti 4200 128 MB Graphics Cards
17" inch flat panel montior (with a little wear on the casing)
keyboard/mouse/speakers/subwoofer
DVD Drive (also CD-RW, but haven't actually ever used it)
English Windows (and some other software avast!, Open Office, DAEMON Tools, a good media player ... all good to go)

Contact me for a few more details. Price is 325,000 won. I'll meet you at or in the vicinity of Hongdae preferably on the weekend of 11/10-11/12.

Cheers

You could build a new com w/ better specs than that for that price. The monitor is a crt? Shocked

... as a know-it-all, how do you not understand what a flat panel monitor is? Did the aliens steal your brain while they were leaving you the amazing flatpanel crt technology?

You can also build a brand new house yourself for cheaper than a used one will sell for ... and yet ... people don't.

Just to make it clear ... it is an LCD monitor. This model:

Contrary to what the troll says this is a reasonable price ... none of the booths in Yongsan are going to put something together for that cheap with a 17" flatpanel. You can probably dumpster dive through the parts flea markets and put something together for a bit cheaper.

this picture was taken 1 month ago all items are brand new and I might add this was taken in the most expensive building at Yongsan - 17" LCDs brand new on Danawa can be had for 150,000

This looks like it proves me right. The cheapest things on there are just under 300,000, and a 17 inch flat panel is going to be definitely over $100. Most have better processors, but I have more RAM. Oh, and the Windows is English, not Korean.

Trolls aside ... if you need a comp in Korea, and you're interested, drop me a line.

Um...I would not consider it because it is not dual core.....
If someone is thinking about buying a pc ....dual core is SOOOO much better than single. A very noticable boost is speed, and system response

Dual core is actually overrated. Not that it's bad, just not as wonderful as people think. Also, while this price is a little high, it's not rediculous.

Like the guy said, the monitor and extra ram make up the difference. I'd say 300 would have been quite fair. 350 isn't bad, give the guy a break.

Actually, those prices now suck when you consider the chips (a lot changes in a month).

If I were looking at an entry-level system today, I'd get something with the CoreDuo 2150 or AMD 3600EE. You should NEVER get a Celeron anything, unless it's a sub-$600 notebook.

Check out www.icoda.co.kr for good prices on the Intel side, anyway. They aren't the absolute cheapest, but they do solid work, and are one of the busier stores in Yongsan.
