So my boss told us I have to go to a meeting for foreign teachers at Omokgyo station. It's something called the Seoul Foreign Language Lecturer Research Seminar. My boss claimed that all teachers have to go(which I know is BS), and that immigration will know if I don't go(which sounds like BS). It sounds like something my boss arbitrarily decided to sign us up for.

Anyone have any idea what this is, or whether or not my boss will actually know if I go.

Our boss mentioned it, but she knew nobody was interested. Your school won't know if you go or not. Although, it sounds so exciting wild horses won't keep me away!

Just don't go. Whatever. Tell him, "Yeah, I'm not going. Have a good weekend." You're here to teach your classes, and nothing else, from Monday to Friday between said hour and said hour, and save money. Even if it is written in big bolded letters on your contract, just ignore it.

Screw Saturday meetings, I am going hiking on a mountain. I am glad I didn't hear anything about it.

Oh well. Guess I'll skip it. Even if my boss does find out, I'll say I woke up sick and went back to sleep.

Yep immigration willbe there checking names. Like they don't have anything else better to do. Oh wait. They have to verify about 10,000 degrees and make a bunch of new policies for new e2 holders.
