I met a former teacher from this school. She left before her contract finished. Apparently they sell it to new teachers as if it is a Canadian school but it is owned by Koreans and is just another Hogwan (same problems as many other schools--apartment problems, bad atmosphere at work). Could work for you as long as you're not expecting some kind of Canadian connection.

I have found out more about MapleBear. It is connected with CECN which is comparable to EF or Nova (Japan). CECN recruits for projects worldwide but after the recruitment process then it leaves the employees in the hands of the local employer. Wages are average or below and conditions very much depend on each project. Nothing special...there are much better contracts out there. Okay as an entry level position but still a big gamble.

Forgot to mention on more thing: CECN is the recruiter only. You sign a contract with the owner of the school you will work with. So be careful! CECN cannot make any promises to you as the contract is NOT with CECN but with the Korean owner.
