-Would anyone care to comment on Xanada travel agency? I remember reading about one of the travel agencies in Itaewon being a scam run by a certain ethnic minority. Thanks for your help

Xanadu is legit, honest and great. Their packaged tours are nice if you are lazy or traveling to somewhere hard to plan.

Xanadont.

Nah, just kidding. I've used them twice and they're friendly and helpful.

I used them and so did a friend last summer. They were cool, prompt, and nice to deal with. The only problem came from a typo and they corrected it at their cost, so all was good.

I always used them when I lived in Korea. They spoke English very well, were very friendly, and seemed to do a good enough job of it.

When did you leave Korea? I didn't realize you weren't living here.

Anyone else think it's weird when people leave but keep posting on here?

Why is it weird? I have quite a few old friends who post here. I use this place to pm them, and also to chitchat on a couple of forums here. Forums which don't have much to do with Korea anyway - The Current Events forum and the Off Topic Forum. Welcome to the 21st century, sweetie. Internet communities transcend geographics. So long as other posters write in a language I understand, like English or French, and there's enough of them with something interesting to say, why shouldn't I still enjoy posting on a site?

It's your objection that seems weird to me.

I've used them many times. Legit, great service, trustworthy. Ask for Jenny Lee.

Xanadu was my travel agent of choice back in the day. They were recommended by many on this board way back then too.

Well for me this forum was the furtherest thing from my mind when i was back home. Life was quite hectic and i didn't have the time or the inclination for message boards primarily concerned with a country i didn't live in and an occupation i didn't work at. Each to their own though.
