How would i go about renting an apartment in Seoul. This relates to starting a new job which is based very near Daerim station. Therefore it would be more convenient for me to be based somewhere near this station.
If anyone can help with with good locations, good value apartments, or a trustworthy estate agent that would be great.

I know a little about 'key money' etc but it wouldn't harm me to hear it again.

Thanks.

You should ask Freakstar.. she knows everything there is to know.

Or

You can go to the neighbourhood of your choice, look for some realtors, walk in and tell them your requirements.

or

if you don't want a run of the mill korean style apartment and want a villa / studio type housing, go again back to the neighbourhood of your choice and copy down the numbers on the front door of some of the villas, then call the number to arrange for a viewing. Get a Korean to help you.

Hope this helps if you decide to go through a letting agent. Our guy was called Gilbert and was really excellent.

Best of luck
