I had an argument on daves tonight. Anyway the whole process was so pointless (you know how internet arguments are) it made me realise something. Daves sucks too much for me to spend this much time here. If its not stupid arguing online then its fighting back the urge to call every troll with a countdown timer in his signature spouting bile about korea an idiot. I hold back most of the time.
Instead of daves i'm going to be using my time to make a more concerted effort to drag my korean up to intermediate level; mastering guitar; actually acknowledging that my girlfriend is in the room; making the effort to go to the free gym in my building (six pack by christmas, that sort of thing). Damn even if i finally bought that xbox i would be doing something more productive than daves.
So here is the challenge. 1 month No daves. You can thank Bejarano-Korea for my absence because in a way he made me see sense.
I'm sorry if ive been mean to anybody else recently. Ive been a bit cranky, or at least safeblad has, the pseudonym is out of control I tell you!
Unfortunately I wont be able to respond to any of your comments because the time starts now.
Whos with me for 1 month no Daves...anybody?
oh

There's hope for you yet, dear one...I see you have finally begun to figure it out...don't ever post again, and see how much better your life gets, simply because somebody here will always get offended no matter what you (or anyone, for that matter) types, I have forgotten this and came back but only because, alas, I cannot afford an Xbox or better yet, a Nintendo DS.
I'm not saying Korea is bad and I would consider going back, but if I did, I would not post here.
Go enjoy Xbox. Trust me, this is down there towards the lowest common denominator when bored, watching tv is better.
If you must, I would read but not post...I only posted to respond to you because you are beginning to see the light, dear one.
May the force be with you. I don't know about Xbox, but for computer games I highly recommend age of empires and the sims.

Funny thing is, when I meet people from Daves...I feel like I already know them and the first time we talk it's like meeting an old buddy. Weird, I know...
Felt that way with Zyzyfer, Qinella & Bobster fo' sho. |

Yeah, arguments like that can degenerate very quickly-I've been guilty of it-wo I don't know how to spell username but Kermo pointed out in the CPN thread had them in th epast, and I stepped in my own digested kimchi about the picking up chicks thread-I like to think I've eased up-except when it comes to The Usual Suspects proclaiming Canada #1 and the rampant evils of anyone to the right of Pierre Trudeau, and that the CBC allotment is a sacred trust and that 900Million keeps the FOX journalists on the other side of the door-
"Imagine a great wall..."-Pat Buchanan didn't know he was talking about the CBC!

I've read this three times and it still makes no sense to me at all. But I'm quoting it because it's a beautiful treasure of poetry and I don't want it changed one bit. |

What it was was posting in a bit of a rush and a horribly, horribly constructed run-on sentence with typos to the left, typos to the right. |

After following that thread a little, it just seemed to be a usual Dave's thing. I think even after one month you'll still have a running battle with Bejarano, so it's not gonna be completely gone. When both of you post it'll still flare up. The line has been drawn in the sand, this'll be crossed again.
I was however a little bit miffed by it being two Englishee guys arguing. I think it's easier to avoid arguments with your fellow countrymen, because you will take less offence to their arguments because it'll be nothing that offensive to you.
Just post on threads that you can be bothered with, don't go looking for an argument, but don't take offence if it happens, it's only the internet. Which I think was invented for bored office people and geeks, and Keanu Reeves. That was a true story yeh? |

You sound jaded enough to go over to eslcafe. I tried posting there a couple of times but gave up because everybody there is just so...mean (even more so than the clowns on this forum)...just saying. I think I even saw some familiar names over there. |
