| wondering if anybody knew where i could get a haircut at a place that's reputable (meaning: they won't shave off half and laugh me out of the room). i'm also wondering if anyone knew a place with barbers/hairstylists/whoever that knew how to speak english. |

| The Green Turtle in Itaewon, above coffee bean (old burger king), is a good bet. They speak decent English and have lots of foreign customers so are used to doing Western hair |

just look for your local place, make sure a good guy cuts your hair, if you dont like it then just say so and they will keep cutting until its good.
I have got the best haircuts I have ever received in my life right here in the ROK and they usually only go for 10,000 so I get them every month. |

10k ?? the hairstylist in my building only charges me 7k (cut, wash and dry).
Blue club is hit and miss but is only 5k for a cut and wash. |

| I've been going to the Blue Club. Someplaces have a picture book menu that you can choose the style you want. They are all over the place so you don't need to travel far. The downside is that it is hard to get that customized haircut if you don't speak Korean. The Blue Club in Pyeongchon has upped to 6000. |

im pretty sure im not getting ripped off. the guy spends about half an hour just chopping into it and thinning it out. then wash and dry all up takes about 40 mins. |

| Zen Hairdressing at Ehwa Womens University. I make the two hour trip up from my city because the hairdressers are really good. They used to work in London for five years so their english is excellent. Being a bloke I pay 20 000 won. Worth it and they wash my hair again before I leave, so I am not molting on the subway. You can book an appointment on 02-363-4253. |

I've said this to my friends for 3 months before they went to Toni & Guy to get their haircut here. They didn't listen and went to other places and their hair just got messed up.
They went to Toni & Guy and they managed to do a great job repairing the damaged hair and their hair is looking really great now.
Seriously check them out. The cheapest haircut is like 35,000won but if you dont want to look like a tool it's worth it. |
