|
I am just asking some advice from others who have maybe done this before - and know the easiest way to do it...
I have a friend on an E-2 visa....
the friend is now studying at a UNI in Seoul and wishes to know the easiest way to change over from the E-2 (teaching) visa to the student visa...
Currently - the E-2 visa has not been cancelled..
does the person need a "release letter"...?
does the person need to do a Japan-visa-run to get the student visa...?
how does one go about changing from the E-2 over to the student visa...? |

Go to the immigration office and apply for a change in status of sojourn.
He will need to produce the same documents that an outside student visa requires (proof of funds, acceptance from the university, etc). |
