If anyone here wants to watch some more baseball, there willbe a game tonight and tomorrow.
On Thursday, the 'Konami Cup' started. It's a small 4 game series between the champions of Korea, China, Taiwan, and Japan.
Thursday, SK (KOrea's champions) took on Chunichi Dragons (Japanese champions) and beat them 6-3. Good game.
Yesterday, SK beat the holy snot out of the Chinese All-Stars, 13-0. It was called in the 7th inning.
Today, SK will face Taiwan. It should be a good, close game.
Tomorrow, the 2 teams with the best records will play 1 more final game to determine the winners. The smart money is on SK making it to the fianl game. |

SK beat Taiwan, 13-1 yesterday. Another called game.
I am watching now, as SK and Chunichi play the final game. It's 2-0 for Sk at the top of the 2nd.
As Sk defeated Chunichi on Thursday, if Japan wins today, expect a big uproar from Korean fans, because 'we beat them before'. |

I think the Japanese team will win by default, because the Korean team will be caught at anma's and other whore houses and end up playing hungover. |

Yeah, then we can incoherintly call the captain of the SK team a washed up loser who has always been bad. Yeah, that would make a lot of sense wouldnt it... |

Do baseball teams even have captains?
Actually, I have to admit, Koreans are pretty good at baseball. Much better than they are at soccer. And if they lose today, there's no shame. In 3 years of Konami Cup action, Japan has only lost 1 game. And it was last Thursday to SK. Chunichi is a damn good team and hard to beat. Not to mention the stars on their team are paid nearly 10x the stars of SK.
It's 5-3 for Chunichi last I checked. It'll be hard to make a comeback at this point.

gotta be proud of our guys, like you said the Japanese players are paid a lot more and they have a great farm system. Still, I wish we would have beat them. I am getting tired of these baseball tourneys where you get nothing for going undefeated in the group stage and lose in the one game final. |

Yeah it sucks. But it happens. Hindsight is 20/20.
If the coach has put in Rayborn in game 1 and saved 김광현 for the final game, I think SK would have pulled it off.
