It's spreading. One must be vigilant not to fall under its influence.
Check out this example from a website for movies:
We here at SSupload value our Good Standing Member's and alway's bring them FREE MOVIE'S.
We don't like down time and I know you don't, but there are time's that we have no other option's when it comes to bringing you the best possible site on the Internet. We have to shut the Site down from time to time in order to apply some important update's to the Site. We are currently updating the site and may be down for a few day's in order to bring a new lineup to the site.
Since the site is being updated we welcome you to visit the Forum's and if you would like to see some Music Video's that are indexed from different sites feel free to visit MyCozo. Why not give it a try, it will give you something to do until we are back up. |

A friend in the UK, who dropped out of school and went back some years later, said that he bunged an apostrophe of possession on the end of every word ending in an 's' until it was pointed out by his teacher.
Yeah, I believe the above ad is real. |

That one is more understandable, especially since there is no consensus about it. Sometimes you see James's, sometimes you see James'. The latter seems to happen a lot in Bibles, referring to Jesus. |

I've watched a few good movies on this site. Just saying, the guy should learn a little punctuation.
Anyway, my original point was that the wrong use of apostrophes has become prevalent in recent years, for some reason. |

Aren't they both correct with James' being more common?
What about if there were two guys named James each with ownership in the same Bible? |
