Attached are some photos of Flower. She was rescued from the Daejon dog shelter (which is being closed down) about 6 weeks ago.
She was sitting in a little cage in the corner of the shelter on her own, looking very sad. When we picked her up to take her for a walk Mrs Jung (the shelter manager) came running over to tell us to be careful with her � on closer inspection she had a huge lump on her lower belly. Mrs Jung didn�t know what this lump was and she hadn�t been able to afford for a vet to check her out.
We took her to the Royal Vet Clinic in Daejon and tests revealed she had a severe hernia. She had surgery one month ago and it was a complete success � she has shown no ill-effects and is a perfectly healthy little dog now.
She is currently being fostered in Hannam-dong /Itaewon and is now looking for a permanent home. She is a beautiful natured little girl, approx 8 years old but such a lovely personality. She loves everyone and really enjoys going for a walk or just curling up on your lap.
She would prefer a home where someone is home regularly throughout the day to keep her company.

I've had the pleasure of meeting this dog personally 
She's adorable and has a really sweet nature, I hope she finds a good home even if it takes time... |
