Last Saturday night we had a nice turn out for the 2nd weekly meeting of Korea Carruseles Meetup. We're the group of people who are intersted in meeting regularly to learn and practice casino rueda style Cuban salsa...the ultimate social salsa dance because everybody dances with every body else.

We had about 12 dancers of various levels of experience and the class was about 75 minutes. Next week we'll have a special 30 Minute Beginners Prep Class at 7:30 p.m. so that the total 'newbies' can get some training in basic salsa rhythm and body frame. That way they'll be able to benefit more from the regular class and we'll be able to cover more ground in the regular class.

If you're not familiar with what casino rueda is or what it looks like, I'd suggest you go to YouTube and search for 'casino rueda'. You'll see pretty quick that it's pretty cool. And if you alreay do any kind of dancing at all or have any kind of rhythm at all you won't have any trouble learning.

Korea has lots of great salsa clubs and we're building a first class social group of people who love to dance and share their passion for salsa and other fun type of latin music. Lot's of people want to learn to dance, and dance salsa, but never have a chance. Maybe this is it for you?
