In Itaewon there are few things planned for this weekend:

-angsty white guys who haven't seen another white guy in months will to talk your ear off
-angry white guys who hate being in Korea, will yell at an old Korean man for being from such a backwards country
-belligerent white guys who hate their jobs so they should be free to punch or shove anybody they want, will start a fight
-shift white guys who probably aren't English teachers staring at you like you humped their sisters
-lots of skanky drunk dancing is planned in many bars, followed by the spreading of STDs
-overpriced beer will be served at tourist prices

overpriced beer in itaewon? try coming to gangnam and getting beer served at "local" prices.

2000 won for cass/ob
2500 for red rock
5000 for alley kat
~7000 for guinness

good as it gets in seoul i'd say.

Why? There is nothing grammatically incorrect with starting a sentence with a coordinating conjunction.

It would only be a problem if the following sentence was a fragment, i.e lacking a subject.

Used informally, is is perfectly acceptable.

You're just being an anal grammar nazi.

Carry on.

OP. Sure explore Itaewon, but that won't take long. Don't forget Insadong,
Yongsan, Ulgiro, and a host of other cool places.

Don't get me wrong. I don't dislike it because it's grammatically incorrect. Rather, I dislike it because it's a cloying, Friends-esque affectation and it fills me with so much bilious distaste for the continent of North America that I want to convert to radical Islam. Do people who issue this awkward mannerism think that by logging in here, they've just eased themselves onto the sofa at Central Perk and half an hour of winsome, awkward, oestrogen-infused back-and-forthing will ensue, complete with witty japes, men-are-*beep* jibes, aspirational fashions and a big group hug at the end? Could they BE any wronger?!

JUST FUCKING PACK IT IN.
