someone recently wrote about electric blankets here in korea, and i was wondering if anyone has one and found that they've saved a substantial amount of money on their ondol heating?

i get cold really easily and i found last year i ended up with rather large utility bills after cranking the heat.

Get yourself one of these Icing hot water bottles/ice packs for 8,000 won. Put boiling water in it and place it in your bed. I guarrantee that you'll sweat like a pig!! They really work great!
They're available in those wellbeing shops on Jongro between Jongro 5 ga - Dongdaemoon - Dongmyoe.
