I know where to find the info for how much to deduct but what is deducted from for the first month when I don't work the entire month? The total salary/month or just what you were paid for the days you worked? This goes for income tax, pension, and health insurance.
Also, I suspect my boss is not deducting enough for pension (assuming deductions are supposed to be calculated using monthly salary and not actual working days), for reasons I understand, but lets say one day Mr. Government finds out I wasn't paying enough into pension, and they ask me to pay it, but for me as a Canadian this shouldn't matter cause I get it back right? I know why he may not be deducting enough, probably wants to save money, but it's just $15/month, and I'm not that big on making a fuss over <$200. (I'm saving my complaints for important ones because after reading the posts on this site, the probability of me having a majah complaint is high).
Thank you. |
