I want to get my dad a GPS unit when I get home is it worth getting one in Korea? Has anyone done this and taken in back to their country? Thanks.

Umm... I'm guessing something like that would be cheaper back home.

The car GPS units here come with maps for just Korea (at least all of them that I know of). You'd have to buy a USA one if you were going to use it in the USA, for example.

Or are you talking about a basic GPS that gives you coordinates for where you are anywhere in the world?
