Does Korea use PAL or NTSC television format?
I am wondering if I can use things like UK xbox, playstation, dvd players etc on a Korean TV.

Newer t.v's can often display both PAL and NTSC. Find the make and model number of your t.v and check the net. There will a spec page somewhere that can tell you.
It is usually the XBox, DVD player and PS2 that can simply cannot read the other format. It is not always the T.V. My PDP PAVV can display both formats...I know because I tried (it is a new t.v) but my old one in the bedroom cannot.
