to avoid other foreigners (including Dave's) for one's first several months of experience here
(it sure helped me adjust well without a negative attitude) |

......to do a six month contract, leave for a month or two and then come back for another six months...
My friends and I (we're all back in Canada now) were just talking yesterday about how we miss Korea sometimes. It's just that, staying the full year can be a bit hard on the head at times. We thought six month contracts would be much more tolerable. |

I have been here 4 months and have been largely isolated from other foreigners. I am having an amazing time and I love the locals I have befriended. Is it lame to not be the least bit interested in the foreigner scene? |

Not really. I play soccer with foreign teachers and like going out with them at times, but I generally have better experiences with Koreans here. |

From a mountain top all day, everyday. Especially if you got party favors like that special natural grass that doesn't seem to grow in Korea despite having a perfect climate for it to flourish. Being in the natural environment away from traffic, sewers, and screaming brats is golden. |

I've met two foreigners from here so far and both have been fairly positive about their experiences in Korea. Perhaps I've successfully ducked the pricks because I am among them.
I ecided to edit this because, rather hilariously, pricks is only accepted as a plural. Snap off the "s" and you've got yourself a censored word. Woo!
