......to do a six month contract, leave for a month or two and then come back for another six months...

My friends and I (we're all back in Canada now) were just talking yesterday about how we miss Korea sometimes. It's just that, staying the full year can be a bit hard on the head at times. We thought six month contracts would be much more tolerable.

I have been here 4 months and have been largely isolated from other foreigners. I am having an amazing time and I love the locals I have befriended. Is it lame to not be the least bit interested in the foreigner scene?

Not really. I play soccer with foreign teachers and like going out with them at times, but I generally have better experiences with Koreans here.

From a mountain top all day, everyday. Especially if you got party favors like that special natural grass that doesn't seem to grow in Korea despite having a perfect climate for it to flourish. Being in the natural environment away from traffic, sewers, and screaming brats is golden.

I've met two foreigners from here so far and both have been fairly positive about their experiences in Korea. Perhaps I've successfully ducked the pricks because I am among them.

I ecided to edit this because, rather hilariously, pricks is only accepted as a plural. Snap off the "s" and you've got yourself a censored word. Woo!
