What are the derogatory words students and other Koreans use to call or make fun of foreigners?

Is mokpo or something like that a derogatory word?

That's exactly the kind of answer a slow mokpo such as yourself would give, isn't it?

Stand in front of your class and say "I am a Kojangi!" Then wait for the reaction.

Trust me, if you ever look a Korean dead in the eye and say:

You ain't nuthin' but a dirty, stinkin' mokpo! Mad

you'd better have your trainers on.

And that "I got your nose!" bit of clowning, with the thumb inserted between forefinger and middle finger?
That does NOT mean "I got your nose" here!
It means "I mokpo'd your mom AND your sister!" Mad

Bad word, mokpo.

Many meanings, all very bad.

When it comes to derogatory insults, Koreans show no discrimination. Everyone is fair game, fellow countrymen included.

On a related topic...

What are your (or your co-workers) favorite derogatory terms for Koreans?

One of my esteemed colleagues routinely refers to Koreans and all other non-white folks as 'monkeys'.

The link to that cultural sensitivity site told me that, regardless of how bad my day is going, it is inappropriate to say "Damn, this place is crawling with Charlie."

This is the last time I'll feed the troll . . .

You should spend more time learning the rest of the Korean language, not just the put downs some Koreans may use for foreigners. Besides, it's not like most foreigners understand what Koreans are saying anyway. I'm sure some white guy told you a story about an old man talking about Mokpo, his hometown, and the dumb ass Canadian just assumed that it was a dirty word. Whether it's a dirty city is another matter, but how about spending some time and money on a general phrasebook.
