Mulroney looks really, really greasy after reading the chronology of the Airbus scandal.
Airbus Chronology
Did he receive several hundred thousand dollars for helping Schreiber set up "pasta restaurants" or was it for something else
Then the Canadian governmen gave him another $2.1 million after Mulroney sued them.
TORONTO -- An Ontario court has ordered Brian Mulroney to pay $470,000 to arms dealer Karlheinz Schreiber, a decision a spokesman for the former prime minister Thursday called a "ridiculous" abuse of process.
Schreiber, who is fighting extradition from Canada to his native Germany, filed a lawsuit against Mulroney to recover $300,000, plus interest, he gave him in cash in meetings in Montreal and New York in the early 1990s.
Mulroney has acknowledged receiving the money, which came after he retired from politics, and has said he was paid for his assistance in setting up a pasta-machine company. Schreiber's lawsuit, filed in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, alleges Mulroney did not perform the work for which he was paid. |

About that photo.. I've been away from home for a while now. When did it become mandatory that all white people must throw gang signs when having their photo taken? |

No dude. Their thumbs are down. The extended thumb is an essential part of the shocker.
Maybe I was taught a different shocker? |

Harper Orders Mulroney Review, Cuts Ties To Ex-PM
By Alexander Panetta, The Canadian Press
OTTAWA - In an abrupt about-face, Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced a review of Brian Mulroney's dealings with a controversial businessman and cut off contact with the man he valued as a political adviser.
Friday's reversal came just a day after new allegations from Karlheinz Schreiber threatened to draw Harper himself into the tangled Mulroney-Schreiber-Airbus affair.
For days Harper had repeatedly dismissed Liberal demands for a probe into allegations involving $300,000 in cash payments to Mulroney by Schreiber.
But the same prime minister who had responded with taunts and threats to counter-investigate former Liberal prime ministers delivered a bolt out of the blue on Friday afternoon.
Not even Mulroney got an advance phone call from Harper.

So does this mean he got tazered or will get tazed in the not so distant future?
I can't think of one other Canadian politician who would be more deserving of such treatment, except for former Saskatchewan premier Grant Devine. Maybe they could get a two for one show going? |
