I predict this will have a big foreigner backlash.

I don't think so. Unless they're Korean boys.

Someone may have given birth to twins at an expatriate's empty house before then proceeding to dump the infants in the refrigerator, leaving them to freeze, police said.
Police said they found spots of blood in the bathroom, living room and the balcony area of a 40-year-old Frenchman's home in Banpo-dong yesterday.

In all likelihood, the mother gave birth to the twins at the house, looking at the type of towel that was wrapped around one of the babies and the vinyl bags that covered the bodies, according to the police.

Also, the police found no signs of a break-in.

The man discovered the two corpses wrapped in vinyl bags on Sunday when he opened his refrigerator to put away food.

He and his family had left for vacation to France in late June but he was back temporarily for a meeting.

The neighbors said they saw a Caucasian girl who seemed to be about 14 years old loitering in front of the house, police said. The only person who entered the house after the family went on vacation was a male friend of the family.

Police are seeking more information on the girl that the neighbors claim they saw and the male friend, who is currently in France. The police will cooperate with the French schools near the house to locate the girl and try tracking down the friend by contacting the Korean Embassy in France.

The police have requested the National Institute of Scientific Investigation for an autopsy but it will take another week to get the final results.

Anyone see the monday story? The father of the dead babes went back to France and now they can't find him. The Korean keystones claimed they had nothing to hold him on. Doesn't Korea have a material witness law? In the USA, for example, if someone is a witness (though not a suspect) and there's reason to believe the witness won't stick around they can hold him. I mean at least take away Pierre's passport. For all the bizarre rights they deny in Korea, it's strange they don't have a material witness law.

I think the maid too came back and they're talking to her now. Who wants to be the maid will vanish into a jail?

From today's Chosen Ilbo:

Police Seek Return of Freezer Babies' Father

Police are appealing for a French businessman identified as the father of dead twins found in the freezer of his house here to return to Korea. Investigators will seek the cooperation of the French Embassy here and the Korean Embassy in France, police said Monday. Identified only as C, the man says he found the bodies of the two newborns in the freezer of his villa in the predominantly French Seorae Village in southern Seoul when he briefly returned from vacation. He reported the discovery to police before leaving to complete his holiday.
DNA tests confirmed C was the father of the freezer babies, police said, while DNA of the unidentified mother was taken from the umbilical cord and sent to the National Institute of Scientific Investigation together with several other pieces of evidence retrieved from the house.

The Frenchman is an executive with a foreign auto parts maker and has lived in the 260 sq.m villa with his wife and two children since August last year. He was scheduled to return to Korea from his vacation in France on Aug. 28.

The French wife admitted to killing the babies. The Korean government requested her extradition back to faces charges, but when they realized she didn't have a college degree they retracted the request.
