I have a friend who will be applying for a job at a university here in Korea. They want a 'self introduction' letter. I would appreciate any advice you can give her as to what to include (or not include) in it. Thanks for your help. BTW, she doesn't have an internet connection right now, which is why I'm writing for her.

Other than the usual contents of a cover letter, tell her to expound on the virtues of kimchee and how the use of chopsticks gave impitus to the manual dexterity necessary to develop cell phone technology.

I would really appreciate serious replies to my question. Save the fluff for a few days from now, okay? Thanks.

Follow the same principles involved in such a letter back home, eh.

Really, pretend that the missive is for Oxford, etc, and go from there.
