A teacher in Israel, Susan, asked me about getting some Korean students (her class is Grade 5) to join her voicethread and record their voices and share with her classes. Her voicthread is at http://iteachr.com/learn2gether.html
Read her request/ideas here.

Voicethread is great practice for your students if they have a computer and microphone. A great way for students to meet/share with other EFL students around the world. Easy to use.
I also have a voicethread for learning which teachers can use with their students. It practices basic language; greetings, alphabet, numbers, dates, likes/dislikes.

If anyone has some young students who'd like to practice English and meet and greet some Israeli students - Just do it!
I hope in the future, my own classroom connect idea will catch on. Teachers list their classroom online and other teachers can view and contact. Available on EFL Classroom 2.0.
