I'm selling my car as I'm leaving Korea. As the title suggests, it's a Kia Sportage. It's in great shape, inside and out.

When I bought it, I had it inspected and had the dealer fix all the issues. Additionally, I've kept up with other maintenance items. I'm kind of a stickler with my cars.

It has only 107,000 km on it, so it has a ton of life left in it.

Also, when I bought it, I had it professionally repainted. Yes, it cost a lot, but it's not all black and it looks great.

Inside is in great shape. Of course, it has Air conditioning. It has two buckets in the front, and a bench in the back. Seats 5 with a cargo area in the back.

It's a diesel and it gets good gas mileage. Usually only need to fill in once a month with mild driving. I've taken it on several road trips (i.e. Busan-Gwangju, Daegu, Seoul).

Can't say much else. Engine, body, interior is great. Very happy with it.

Bought it for 4 million last year. Will take offers on it. Given the improvements and repairs, I would expect more than 3 for it.

As an aside, some of you may notice that I'm also selling a great Navigation/GPS systems and a top of the line car security system/remote starter. They are both installed in the car now, and I will consider selling them as a package. Otherwise, they can both be uninstalled.

Thanks

p.m. me for pictures

How much did the repainting cost? I am planning to have my car repainted.

Thanks.

The repainting cost me about 1.6 million won. It was done right (i.e. stripped with everything removed, windows and all, and redone). It's expensive to do it right, even in Korea.

Thanks,
Much better than the ubiquitous white ones seen around Korea, with the awful splashes on the side panels. I just couldn't drive something like that. Cost a bunch, but it was worth it.

Seems like a very nice ride. Dont get me wrong, I am not trying to knock the price, the price is good for that car. Its just that its more than most foreign english teachers are willing to spend on a car. I sold my old KIA pride for W300,000 LOL!!!

I am seriously considering buying the car though and am trying to convince my wife we should upgrade from our old galloper!! Smile

We will see.... Good luck on the sale!

I'm very interested in your Kia. Just had a kid and need a bigger vehicle. I'm in Seoul, but could make it down on a weekend. I couldn't pm you, but perhaps you could pm me photos of the odometer, exterior on all sides, and more of the interior.
Thanks
